Being fast is an intrinsic part of financial trading. So much so that it is deep grained in the popular idea of what a trader look like. Ask a common person how they imagine financial traders, they will probably stick to a time when traders were more like crocodiles, acting solely on instinct, fast, biting whatever moves.
